Movement. It's one of the key aspects of being alive: the capacity to move around.
But there are so many aspects of movement that we take for granted. How does movement start? Why does it start like that? What are the driving forces behind our development?
What do those pesky primitive reflexes actually do for us, and importantly, why does their persistence create such issues?
This Masterclass looks at the stages of neurodevelopment involved in going from static to standing during the infancy stages of life, covering major milestones and the role of movement to get us there.
Also under discussion: whether the Warm Apple & Rhubarb Cake goes better with the Asian Style Sticky Chicken or the 250g Eye Fillet because yes, these are very likely to be some of the lunch choices on the day.
A full day of clinically relevant content on infant neurodevelopment, from embryology through to practical assessment.

Dr Christian completed his Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in 2005, and since then has completed post-graduate study across kinesiology, neurology, nutrition and methylation — culminating in a Diplomate of Chiropractic Paediatrics.
He has been teaching chiropractic paediatrics across Australia and internationally with Chiropaeds since 2016, runs a YouTube channel for parents (Ask Dr Christian), and co-hosts a podcast for chiropractors (2 Paed Chiros).
