For Students & New Graduates
A series of short, informal seminars designed to give chiropractic students and recent graduates a head start in paediatric practice. Sessions will be run once per month covering the foundational knowledge and clinical confidence you won't always get from a standard curriculum. Limited to only 10 per class.
Every Headstart session follows a similar format — informal, focused, and built around what students actually ask for.
Short enough to fit around uni or clinic shifts — most sessions run for around an hour, sometimes with time for questions afterward.
A focussed look at one topic at a time with the kind of clinical reasoning that doesn't always make it into a lecture slide.
Many sessions include a practical component of learning technique, assessment, or examination practice in a low-pressure setting.
No assessments, no pressure. Just a relaxed space to ask the questions you might not ask in a lecture theatre.
The Headstart Program is aimed at anyone early in their paediatric journey - whether you're years from graduating or just starting to see your first families.

Headstart sessions are presented by Dr Christian Fludder — so you're learning from real clinical experience, not just theory.
Christian has spent more than half his career focused on paediatric chiropractic care, combining hands-on clinical experience with published research. Headstart sessions draw directly from that experience — practical, grounded, and built for students who want to understand paediatrics from someone who practices it every day.
Sessions cost $25 to attend and run for around one hour with time for questions and more at the end. Sessions are announced as they're scheduled - so be sure to register your interest in the next session below, and keep an eye on this page for what's coming up after that.
